The Building Committee of Twilight Lodge #329
is proud to announce that plans are advancing
rapidly to have a new lodge building at Spirit
Lake. There has been a Chartered Lodge in
Spirit Lake since 1874.
Currently called the "Masonic Center
Project," the Joint Building Committee has
been meeting regularly and working towards its
goals. The Committee is comprised of
representatives from the Blue Lodge, Shrine,
& Eastern Star. All three Masonic
groups have attended meetings and shown
enthusiastic support for the Project.
The Committee is finalizing the formation of
a proper Non-profit Corporation that can accept
donations that are tax deductable.
Simultaneously, an Endowment Fund will be
established to ensure the long term
sustainability of the building. The
building strategies of either remodeling an
existing structure or finding land (purchase or
gift) for a new building are being explored.
We will have further communications on the
Fundraising Campaign for both the building and
Endowment soon.
